Foreign exchange risk
Cross-border payments involve currency conversion. Exchange rates fluctuate and the rate at which a payment is converted may differ from rates quoted at the time of initiating a payment. XICUI will disclose the applicable exchange rate before any conversion is confirmed.
Payment timing risk
International payments may be subject to delays due to compliance checks, correspondent banking processes, or regulatory requirements. XICUI does not guarantee specific payment delivery timelines.
Compliance and regulatory risk
Cross-border payments are subject to applicable laws and regulations in the sending and receiving countries. Payments may be delayed, held, or returned if they do not meet compliance requirements. Customers are responsible for ensuring their payments comply with applicable laws.
Counterparty risk
XICUI verifies beneficiary bank details and applies KYB checks, but cannot guarantee the commercial performance of your suppliers or buyers. XICUI is not responsible for disputes between customers and their trading partners.
Platform risk
XICUI is in pre-launch phase. Payment services are subject to regulatory authorization and may not be available in all jurisdictions. XICUI does not represent itself as a licensed bank unless expressly stated under an applicable banking authorization.
